What is your **talent**?

Talent is everywhere.\nWhat’s yours?

Writing the motivational letter in my fifth year of high school was like digging into myself. It was a time of great indecision: it was the right time to gather my ideas and clarify them. By writing, I found a why to my college choice.

I started out confident and hopeful, but I found several difficulties. The key to overcoming them was getting to know my interlocutors thoroughly first, understanding what I could give them.  You have to be extremely authentic. Making yourself known, telling your story with honesty, so that the professionals you meet will fully understand your motivation.

I often tell people close to me about my adventures as a Fellow. Aurora is an inspiring ecosystem, so many would like to apply for the Aurora Experience. Two of my friends and a friend of mine have already taken part in the selection process!  It gives me joy to share this experience with them. I try to answer any question they ask me without denying them the pleasure of autonomy, because it's right that everyone should experience the Aurora experience as a continuous discovery.

Aurora puts young people at the center. It gives them the opportunity to reach their full potential.  I see Aurora as an accelerator. What I could learn in ten or twenty years, I will focus in a personalized, self-contained path in less than three years.

Thanks to the Fellowship, I think I can grow a lot. I want to be a "technician" in the future, but I don't want to deprive myself of experiences in other areas. On the contrary, I want to learn even what is far from me. I know that Aurora can give me a great support in this, putting me in contact with ambitious people like me.

I will try to meet extraordinary people, such as Bill Gates, but also Liliana Segre or Esther Duflo, the youngest winner of the Nobel Prize for Economics.  And then I'm obsessed with innovation. I'll see how to organize myself to travel and participate in innovation tours, to discover the most innovative realities in China, USA and Israel.

The value of relationships is critical. It is relationships that add value. Aurora's Wizards are amazing people to ask, to engage with, to learn from. This has tremendous value.

Interviewing a Wizard, we got to talking about what it means to be a woman today. She told me that if she hadn't had the courage to ask, she probably wouldn't have had the same career. /nIt can be harder for young women to achieve goals. Sometimes girls have qualms about putting themselves forward, perhaps out of modesty. So positive role models are needed.

"You are a young  woman, have the courage to ask."

n my first few months as an Aurora Fellow, I took the opportunity to meet all the Wizards. All of them. Out of pure curiosity and because I am convinced that everyone could give me something important.  So much advice, so much availability and so much support. For me it was very important to find myself immersed in the ecosystem of Wizards. One day I met a philosophy professor, the next a marketing super consultant.   This diversity is one of Aurora's core values.
